Clirz privacy policy

Clirz is a personal assistant app for pastors, made by Clem Rillera. It is built for one person at a time: your data is yours, tied to your sign-in, and never shared with other users.

What we store

• Your account: email address, display name, and the preferences you set in the app.
• What you create in the app: tasks, notes, prayer list entries, meeting transcripts and summaries, daily briefs and recaps, and your protected rhythms.
• Push notification tokens so reminders can reach your phone.

Prayer

Prayer content is never logged and never stored. Prayers generated during a prayer close exist only on your phone for that moment. Our servers keep a count of usage, not the words.

Talking to Clirz

When you ask Clirz to do something, by voice or typed, the words you said and Clirz's replies are kept for two hours so you can carry on a conversation after leaving the screen, then cleared. Clear removes them at once. Prayer is never part of this.

Voice and recordings

Audio recorded for meeting notes never leaves your phone. Transcription happens on the device. Only the resulting text is sent to our servers to write a summary. Spoken commands are processed and not retained.

Email (Gmail and Outlook)

If you connect a mailbox, Clirz reads your inbox once a night, and when you ask, to sort messages into Today, This week, FYI, and Cleared with a one-line reason each. We store only the sender, subject, received time, the bucket, and the reason. We never store message bodies. A short preview may be sent to our AI provider to decide the bucket and is discarded immediately.

Clirz never sends email. When you ask for a reply draft, it is written into your own Drafts folder for you to finish. Archiving moves a message in your mailbox only when you tap Archive, and can be undone.

Your mailbox access token is encrypted at rest on our servers and is never sent to the app. Disconnecting a mailbox in Settings deletes the token and every sorted entry for it. Google user data obtained through Gmail is used only for these features, is not sold, and is not used for advertising.

Calendar

Calendar access stays on your phone. Event titles and times are sent to our servers only to write your morning brief and answer spoken questions, and are not stored.

Service providers

We use Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic and OpenAI (writing and voice), and Google Cloud (spoken read-backs). Each receives only what is needed for the feature you are using.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete account removes your account and everything tied to it. Disconnecting a mailbox removes its token and sorted entries at once.

Fair use

The optional night attendant add-on includes up to 30 answered calls a month, roughly one a night. If a line regularly takes more, we will let you know in the app before anything changes.
